Hand Glass are now a fourth generation of glass manufacturers based near Birmingham. They produce the most advanced hand-made realistic doll & teddy bear eyes in UK and are internationally renowned. Previously Hand Glass Craft only sold to the trade; however they are often selling to international buyers, and occasionally the public. They needed to an ecommerce website that was flexible, reliable and easy to use to sell direct to the public, both nationally and internationally.
Daly Design created the website and added an impressive catalogue of teddy bear and dolls eyes, our web design team added hundreds of eyes in a variety of colours, sizes and shapes and arranged them in an easy to view format. The shopping cart calculates the shipping costs based on each individual weight of the eyes and it’s destination as the various countries in the world have different shipping costs associated. The shopping cart calculates volume discount (i.e. buy any 10 eyes and get 20% off) and also supports volume pricing for individual products (i.e 1-10 pairs of 32mm eyes £2.50 each, 11+ pairs £2.00 each).
This website has now allowed Hand Glass Craft to sell to any country in the world and has also reduced the amount of time-consuming enquiries from many forigners as they can now purchase directly online.
