The Rest today provides wonderful holidays for mature folk, able bodied and disabled alike. The Rest functions as a Charitable Trust, and is managed by a Board of Trustees. They are self funding, and non profit making, funds are limited and the website was to be built within a budget. The building is an enlisted building and was built by Dr James Lewis and has historical importance.
A classic website design was developed to compliment the historical building. We spent several hours photographing the building, highlighting it's historical features and capturing the ambience and character of the Hotel; a 'flash' slideshow on the homepage animates various images of the hotel. Since the website has been built, the staff at the hotel are able to update the website on a regular basis using the Adobe Contribute software provided. |
